Veterans Day Gathering 2005

The MRFA and 9th Infantry Division will be placing wreaths at the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C. on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11, 2005. We will gather at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial at 8:30 A.M. on the 11th, and proceed to the wall at 9:00 A.M.

We have blocked 30 rooms at the Quality Hotel and Suites in Arlington, Virginia for November 9th – 13th. Room rates vary from $99.00 (plus tax) per night (there’s 20 room available at this rate) to at $115.00 (plus tax) per night (there’s 10 rooms available at this rate). For reservations call 1-888-987-2555 and refer to out group code “MRFA1.” Reservations under this code must be made before the cut off date of October 19th, 2004, so call early.

The Quality Hotel & Suites is located at 1200 North Courthouse Road, Arlington, VA. 22201.

There will be no registration or dress code for this event. If this is your first trip to Washington, we suggest comfortable shoes because there are lots of sight to see by walking.
