Veterans Day Gathering 2005

Gentlemen and Ladies,
The MRFA and the 9th Inf. Div will hold its Veterans Day Mini-Reunion from Friday, Nov. 11 to Sunday, Nov 13. at the Ramada Inn Airport Thunderbird Convention Center (2201 E. 78th St., Bloomington, Minnesota). The Ramada Inn is right off I-494 at the 24th Ave, West exit. We will hold our memorial services Saturday, Nov. 12 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery where wreaths will be placed at the 9th Infantry Division and the Mobile Riverine Force memorials.

You can make your reservations by calling 952-854-3411 and asking for the MRFA/9th Inf Div special rate. The hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday. Room rates are $74 per night (for 1-4 people inclusive). There are 15 rooms on hold for us. If we fill all of the 15 rooms and more, we will get the hospitality suite free.

The MRFA will have a hospitality room. There is no dress code or no registration fee for the gathering. Due to circumstances beyond Frank Humphreys’ control (losing a job, getting married, and moving), please send your name, unit, guest’s name, city, and state info to Charlie Ardinger (info below). This info will assist us with who and how many people will be attending and we can have a name tag prepared.
