The Association will have a wreath Laying Ceremony with guest speakers at the U.S. Naval Memorial, with Honor Guards from both the Army and Navy participating as well as a military band. some of you may have attended the ceremony we had a few years back which was an exceptional event and enjoyed by all. The ceremony will be held on Saturday November the 11th at 2:00 p.m. Check out this impressive guest speaker list!!!
Why the Navy Memorial? It’s the only location and source available for the ceremony. As of right now there is not an Army memorial in DC. Both branches of service will be represented. We will honor all Veterans of the association by having a permanent MRFA memorial plaque placed on the “Navy Memorial Commemorative Wall” during our stay, these plaques are publicly displayed and viewed by thousands of tourists, veterans, and school children annually.
The Association will be using the Quality Hotel & Suites In Arlington, VA. The Quality is located at 1200 North Courthouse Rd. Arlington, VA. 22201.
