Information received from John Lambe, U.S. Army Div Arty Weather Balloon Section used for Ballistic Firing Corrections on the 105-8" guns - Feb 68 to July 68 Near side of nearest large tent is : 1. Thatched hut built to accommodate an old ice cooler we used for beer & pop called it the "Commo Bar". 2. Single stall Crapper (reduced to rubble by a mortar hit & rebuilt in record time). 3. Between these two structures was the piss-tube. |
