Carl served onboard T-1, which was one of the last 8 riverine craft turned over to the South Vietnamese Navy

Official Navy photos of the different types of training boats used at NIOTC to train MRF sailors. These boats arrived in Summer 1968. Prior to that LCM-6 boats were used to train crews.
